Winter on the Mount
Experience the Mount at a gentler pace this winter. Explore the cobbled village, shops and historic harbour, then warm up with a hot drink and freshly baked cake in the Island Café.


Access information
During the winter season, tickets are not required to access the island. Until 30 April (excluding Easter) visitors can explore all that the island has to offer for free. Dogs are also welcome.

Walking the causeway
At low tide, follow the ancient cobbled causeway to the island. Walk in the footsteps of pilgrims, traders, nobles and villagers who have made this journey for hundreds of years.

Discover how life was lived in west Cornwall before the mid-20th century at the Steward's House Art Gallery. Showcasing works by the Newlyn School artists, capturing everyday lives, landscapes and communities of the time.
