Find out everything you need to know about how to book tickets to St Michael's Mount.
Tickets are required to visit the castle and garden when they are open. All weekday Afternoon Tea bookings include complimentary garden admission up to 04 September and all complimentary castle admission from 07 September-30 October. An Advance Booking Rate discount will be applied to all island tickets booked before midnight on the day before your visit. Family discount applied at checkout.

Please note: Normal ticket prices resume from 02 September 2026. Combination tickets are only available Monday-Friday when the garden is open.

Afternoon Tea & complimentary castle
Please check causeway opening times when you book your Afternoon Tea to discover whether you will walk across to the island or take a boat. Boat tickets are available to purchase on the day from one of our guides on the mainland. Afternoon Tea is available up to and including October 30 2026.
All Afternoon Tea bookings include complimentary castle admission from 07 September-30 October.

Boat ticket prices
Boats are only available when the tide covers the causeway. The last day of boating operations is 31 October 2026. Between 1 May and 11 September, boat tickets can only be purchased with a valid castle or garden ticket or with an Afternoon Tea booking.

National Trust members
How to book St Michael's Mount as a National Trust member:
During the winter when access to the island is free, you do not need proof of membership. If you are booking castle or garden tickets during the ticket-only access period, your National Trust membership type will be verified on arrival, so please book tickets according to the numbers in your party and bring your current, valid membership cards with you on the day.
We have reciprocal visiting arrangements with several National Trust organisations worldwide. Please check whether your membership card is included in this agreement here. If it is, you may book free admission through our website by selecting 'Yes' when prompted to confirm National Trust membership. St Michael's Mount is exempt from any National Trust schemes, vouchers and promotions, including the Explorer Pass.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome from 14 September to 30 April 2026, excluding Easter which runs from 2 April - 19 April. Dogs are welcome we again from 13 September. Please see our dog policy for further information.
Locals' & Mount Memories passes
We offer a Locals' Pass for residents from local parishes to allow free access to the island during the main season and 1,000 Mount Memories Passes are awarded every year for those with a special connection to the island.
