Access to the island is only possible for those with a ticket to the castle, gardens of an Afternoon Tea.

Boating
Boat tickets may be required if you visit the island during high tide when the causeway is closed. If a boat is required, this will be prompted at point of purchase.

National Trust Members
Please book your free admission tickets for the castle online. Your National Trust membership type will be verified on arrival, so please book tickets according to the numbers in your party and bring your current, valid membership cards with you on the day. Overseas visitors with National Trust Touring Passes should book a National Trust ticket and present the touring pass upon arrival. Visitors who hold an International Trusts Organistation INTO card are also welcomed with free admission. St Michael’s Mount is exempt from any National Trust schemes, vouchers and promotions.
Locals’ Passes
We offer a Locals’ Pass for residents from local parishes to allow free access to the island during the main season and 1,000 Mount Memories Passes are awarded every year for those with a special connection to the island.
