Parking for your visit

Where should I park?

The St Michael’s Mount & Long Stay Marazion Car Park is also sometimes called Follyfield Car Park and it is marked on the map below as ‘Visitor Parking’. This is an ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) car park. The satnav postcode is TR17 0EG. The What Three Words for the entrance to our car park is: unopposed - toward - speedily.

Please note: you can ‘top up’ your payment if you have stayed on the Mount longer than intended when you park in one of our car parks. You don’t need to rush off!

  • Up to 2 hours: £3.00
  • Up to 3 hours: £4.50
  • Up to 5 hours: £5.50
  • Up to 10 hours: £8.50
  • Per day (24-hour period): £13.50

How long should I stay on the Mount?

To enjoy the full experience, we recommend ticket holders set aside one to two hours to see the castle or garden, the harbour village, gallery, shops and cafes.

For ‘combination’ tickets, castle and garden, we recommend two to four hours to make the most of your Mount experience.

Bear in mind, you’ll need to walk or boat across and back. You should allow at least an hour in total for this journey time.

Finally, if you have a late time slot, remember that the last entry to the garden and castle is at 4pm and the island closes at 5pm.

What if I stay on the Mount longer than intended?

Don’t worry – you can ‘top up’ on the parking app or at the payment machines before you leave the car park.

Special parking requirements – bike parking and electric vehicles

Bike parking: There are bike racks in the far corner of the Short Stay Marazion Car Park, which is next to The Godolphin and Mount’s Bay Sailing Club. These racks are free to use. Note that this car park has a maximum three-hour stay and is not recommended for drivers visiting the Mount.

Electric vehicles: There are several EV charge points close to St Michael’s Mount. For your nearest, click here.
